Ann's Tribute
Created by Alan 16 years ago
Ann died aged 61 on the 5th July 2004, after a very brave and courageous 2 year battle with this terrible disease.
Ann was a very busy and active lady, who enjoyed socialising with her many friends, playing bingo and darts and going to the gym, most of which she had to reluctantly give up, even working because she could no longer climb the stairs.
The most upsetting thing was watching her deteriorate and not being able to do anything about it. For mum, it was the fact that she was not able to take her grandchildren to the park or even hold them.
Dad was her main carer, he looked after her and most importantly kept her dignity.
Even with all this to cope with, Ann never once complained, always had a smile on her face and kept her very witty sense of humour (especially with her son-in-law Graham), with who she loved a bit of banter.
We all miss you so very much, and know it would be your wish to find a cure as quickly as possible, so please donate as much money as you can to help fund research and also help others with this dreadful disease.
Dad, Paul (her son) and myself would like to thank the MND Association for all their help and support, which made Ann's life just that little bit easier. So far we have raised £800.00, £400.00 of which was donated to the MND Association and £400.00 to the East Sussex Branch. Thank you to everyone for all your kind donations.
God bless Mum, Wife and Grandma, sweet dreams XXX
All money raised on these pages will be earmarked as being donations made via this Tribute Fund when they reach Motor Neurone Disease Association.
